  Before attending Curry Creek, I've been going to church for 35 years solo since my parents did not go. I had learned that I needed to attend church every Sunday by an amazing pastor when I was growing up. I would sit in church by myself and would be befriended by an older couple who helped me and was a church family to me. Sadly, that was the past. After attending Curry Creek, I question church attendance at all. In my entire life I've not seen the materialism and uncompassionate as in this church. My wife and I taught and helped for two years. And I'll honestly say, if I could have every cent and every hour I spent at this church, I would take it back in a heart beat. I'm walking away from this church confused and really questioning what has happened the American church. I honestly have prayed multiple times that God would strike it down. It does not comfort those who are hurting, nor does it show impartiality. I learned a hard lesson from Curry Creek and honestly hope, you do not make the same mistake as I did. I regret ever taking my family here. I have been mocked by one member of their church while the staff stood by and did NOTHING except applaud him. My wife and I left after it became clear we were considered the problem. I have a lot of anger and find it hard not to wish God would strike down church like Curry Creek. Its members are ingenious and the closest thing I can relate it to is a rich person's sudo-Christian country club. Pastor John is great. Amazing commentator. And Issic is amazing at leading worship, but if you go any deeper in the church. Children are not really being taught. It is disorganized. I honestly would not send my dog to their middle school nor elementary Sunday school. Don't believe me, visit it yourself and find out. I know God says to forgive, but my stern warning to you is avoid this church. I read a lot of literature overseas condemning the American church and up until now, I wondered why. Curry Creek is a clear example of a rich materialistic church with the exception of the pastor knows little about the bible and is full of judgmental rich people who condemn. If you want a surface Christianity, where your children will run around bang the ground and throw paper airplanes, Curry Creek is the church for you.
